OUTREACH PROJECTS

Each year, our chapter undertakes projects and activities in support of its members and the local community.

Our members are busy exploring new ideas and new stitches to make hearts for our new Hearts for Hospice outreach program.  The finished hearts are given to a local hospice facility.  Check out the hearts that other EGA members are showing off on the EGA Stitch-A-Long Facebook page.  There is also a Facebook group "Hearts for Hospice".

In the past, our Chapter members have made tray favors for Meals on Wheels, which included bookmarks and magnets for our community members. Our members have also joined with a local school to bring a stitching program to their students. We've also donated items to our local women's shelter.
